Services

The library is open to the general public. All books and periodicals in the collections can be examined in the library.

Books in the collections may be found via the card catalogue or the in local database.New acquisitions and important books on arms and armour are registered in the general database of the research libraries of Sweden LIBRIS (Library Code: Y). A photocopying service is available.

Loans

Books can be loaned through Interlibrary Loans within the Nordic countries only. The initial loan period is 30 days.

Books over 100 years old are loaned to research or public libraries within Sweden only.

Reference books, rare books and books in the special collections are available for use in the library only. The library can provide copies of journal articles or books to private persons or libraries in Sweden or abroad. The library applies service and rules sanctioned by BIBSAM.
